The farm sits at an altitude of 1600 masl and has a total of 22 hectares. It’s planted with native forest on 4.5 hectares and with coffee on 15.5 hectares, the varieties that they harvest are Caturra, Typica, Colombia, and Bourbon.

Sitting at the top of a mountain overlooking the Laboyos Valley, Las Nubes gets mild temperatures around 18–21° C during the day, with cooler temperatures at 10–12° C at night, and enjoys an unobstructed view of the valley and surrounding mountains.

Gabriel Rey started in the coffee world 20 years ago, sourcing and commercializing coffee in the Nariño region of Colombia. Gabriel and his wife Karen, a certified Q-grader, later opened the independent coffee shop Nariño Express, where they sold only the highest quality hand-selected coffee from the region.

Finca Santa Lucia is located in the town of La Plata, in the foothills of the Cordillera Central. It's is a town and municipality in the Huila department of Colombia, and has a population of 57,000 inhabitants including the rural area. It is located 122 km away from Neiva, the capital of Huila.
