CAUCA

Cauca is located in the southwest of Colombia, it is a magical department full of beautiful landscapes of the Western and Eastern mountain ranges. In this department, the coffee is the economic sustenance for 90.000 families and it has 93.000 hectares of coffee crops. The most cultivated varieties are Castillo, Colombia, Caturra, Tipica, Bourbon and Tabi at an altitude average of 1.700 m.a.s.l. Currently Cauca is number 4 in the ranking of national production.
